The Gentleman Scientist participates in affiliate marketing programs. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and make a purchase, the site may earn a commission from the merchant. The price you pay is the same.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. The Gentleman Scientist is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
The site may also participate in affiliate programs run by other retailers and manufacturers of tools, electronics, hobby and lifestyle products.
How affiliate links are identified
- Articles that contain affiliate links carry a notice at the top of the article and a note on commerce at the end.
- Affiliate links are marked in the page code as sponsored links and open in a new tab.
How recommendations are made
Products are recommended because they suit the experiment or purpose described. A commission is never the reason a product is included, and the absence of an affiliate program never excludes a product that is the better choice - some excellent suppliers do not offer one, and they are recommended anyway.
Prices, availability and specifications change. Confirm the details on the merchant’s site before purchasing.
